The Department of Physics and Physical Oceanography at the University of North Carolina Wilmington is looking to fill up to two tenure-track faculty positions at the Assistant Professor level.<br>

<br>

The search is in the broad area of physics related to the oceans and Earth’s climate. We seek candidates who will complement the department’s existing research strengths in physical oceanography, cryospheric physics, climate physics, and complex systems. We

 seek candidates who use theory, computer modeling, observation, and/or experimentation. Candidates should have a commitment to teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels and the potential for innovation and leadership in research.<br>
