research on the carbon cycle and climate change. This postdoctoral position will perform research on quantification and analysis of fossil fuel CO<sub class="">2</sub> emissions at fine space/time scales in the North American domain. Working
</span><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif" class="">with the “Vulcan” and “Hestia” emissions data products (<a href="http://vulcan.project.asu.edu" class="">vulcan.project.asu.edu</a>;

and analyze the emissions in conjunction with satellite, ground-based monitoring and modeling. Projects are ongoing at both the national and urban scale. The position requires a knowledge combination of carbon biogeochemistry, data mining, and numerical modeling.
The position will require collaboration with colleagues at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, National Institute for Standards and Technology, among others.<o:p class=""></o:p></span></p>
