underlying dynamics of ENSO complexity and climate variability in the Western Pacific. The work involves analyzing reanalysis data, hindcast products, and coupled model simulations, as well as performing numerical experiments with coupled atmosphere-ocean
general circulation models (CGCMs).<o:p></o:p></span></p>
