You will focus on improving the representation of momentum transport processes, cloud microphysics, and stochastics in the deep convection scheme used for the next generation of E3SM, as well as improving its scale-awareness working with scientists at Scripps and National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) and collaborating with E3SM modelers.
