Geography at Simon Fraser University (Vancouver, British Columbia,
Canada), led
by Dr. Kirsten Zickfeld, invites applications for a postdoctoral
position in coupled-climate
carbon cycle modelling.<o:p></o:p></span><br>

a dynamic
group with expertise in Earth system modelling, climate dynamics
and climate-carbon
cycle interactions on decadal to centennial timescales. The focus
of the research
will be on the future climate and carbon cycle response to
“overshoot”
scenarios, i.e. scenarios that temporarily exceed a temperature
limit. </span><span

response to such scenarios is of fundamental interest, as most
scenarios
consistent with meeting the temperature limits set by the Paris
