spatial analysis and spatial data visualization within the library and across campus. Advance knowledge and skills in spatial science within the Library’s Teaching, Learning, and Research (TLR) team to support spatial thinking and spatial literacy across
campus. Play a central role in developing and providing services to support the identification, creation, curation, visualization, analysis, and dissemination of spatial data used and generated by the Smith College community. Develop curricular materials
and tools for classes using spatial data technologies. Work with faculty and students to promote the use of spatial research methods in a wide range of knowledge domains, including developing innovative Digital Humanities projects. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

and emerging learning frameworks and knowledge of spatial technologies and methods to design and support the creation of instructional materials, and online/blended learning objects for a diverse set of classes in the Sciences, Humanities, and Social Sciences.
Collaborate closely with departments and programs that are major users of GIS technology and advise curricular development that reflects current and developing research needs. Provide in-person technical support to students and faculty working on independent
research using spatial technologies. Identify needs and opportunities for workshop development; design engaging instructional materials and teach workshops on a regular schedule. Instruct non-credit one-week interterm GIS class and other related (possibly
credit bearing) classes depending on need.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
