The Regulatory Development and Assistance (RDA) Unit exists to develop and implement regulations for stationary sources that emit air pollutants and odorous gases into the atmosphere; to assist stationary sources with complying with regulations, policies and
programs as set forth by the Clean Air Act and promulgated by the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency, the Air Quality Control Commission and the Department; and to develop partnerships with other agencies and the regulated community to advance environmental
and public health goals through the development of innovative policies, programs and environmental projects. The RDA Unit is housed in the Air Pollution Control Division's Planning and Policy Program.<br>

What You'll Be Doing:<br>
This position works to conduct regulation development activities and provide outreach and compliance assistance that affect stationary sources of air pollution. The purpose of this position within the RDA Unit is to protect and maintain environmental and public
health by helping to develop, interpret, and implement regulations and policies; helping to provide regulated entities with outreach and compliance assistance regarding federal and state rules, regulations and policies; working in partnership with other federal,
state and local agencies to develop policies and projects that address air quality and other environmental concerns and issues at the national, state and local levels; reviewing federal policies and guidance to assure the relevancy of information and policy
directives for Colorado sources and sectors; working individually and as part of the team to assist Division and local health department staff in understanding, interpreting and applying federal and state regulatory requirements and policies during stakeholder
