<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif;color:black">The Environmental Studies and Sciences Program at Skidmore College invites applications for a two year Visiting Assistant Professor beginning Fall 2018. We seek
an interdisciplinary, natural scientist who has expertise in land cover and land-use change, and who explores the impact of different land use patterns and design on ecological function and community resiliency in natural and human-dominated settings. We envision
a hire who can engage our students in courses and research aimed at managing and restoring ecosystems and landscapes for improved water quality, biodiversity conservation, agriculture systems, climate change mitigation, and public health. We are especially
interested in candidates from under-represented groups as well as individuals who have experience with diverse populations who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through their research, teaching and/or service.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
