 Assistant Professor position for the 2017-18 academic year with the potential for renewal. </span></span><span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif;color:#4B4B4B"><br>

<span class="summary">The position is open to all geoscience disciplines, although preference may be given to someone who could teach field geophysics and/or planetary geology at the introductory level. Courses taught by the visitor will include Physical Geology,
 and other courses at the introductory or advanced level as appropriate for our curriculum. </span><br>

<span class="summary">W&L is a nationally ranked, highly selective liberal arts college. The Department (geology.wlu.edu) has excellent facilities and resources, makes great use of the Appalachians in field courses and labs, and is a member of the Keck Geology
 Consortium. </span><br>
