<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><font size="2" class=""><a href="https://jsmankin.github.io/" class="">The Dartmouth Climate Modeling & Impacts Group (CMIG)</a> in the <a href="http://geography.dartmouth.edu/" class="">Department of Geography
at Dartmouth College</a> seeks a postdoctoral research fellow broa</font><span class="" style="font-size: small;">dly interested in hydroclimate variability and change to join a dynamic and inclusive research group that pursues</span><span class="" style="font-size: small;"> wide-ranging
projects. </span><span class="" style="font-size: small;">Candidates are encouraged to develop and lead their own research projects in collaboration with the PI; candidates could also could support existing group projects to completion or pursue some combination
therein, driven by scientific interests. </span><span class="" style="font-size: small;">Ongoing research in the group includes the role of vegetation in shaping paleo, 20</span><sup class="">th</sup><span class="" style="font-size: small;"> century, and future
droughts; the influence of internal climate variability on agricultural yield uncertainty and adaptation decision-making; detailed analyses of climate extremes and their downstream impacts on people and ecosystems. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span class="" style="font-size: small;">A PhD in climate, atmospheric, environmental engineering, or hydrological science (broadly defined) and experience running model simulations and working in a Linux/Unix
