<p class="MsoNormal">An M.S. RA opportunity is available to work under the direction of Dr.
<a name="OLE_LINK1"></a><a name="OLE_LINK2"></a><a name="OLE_LINK3"><span style="mso-bookmark:OLE_LINK2"><span style="mso-bookmark:OLE_LINK1">José L. Antinao, at the Indiana Geological and Water Survey</span></span></a> (IGWS) and the Dept. of Earth and Atmospheric
Sciences (DEAS), Indiana University. The student project is part of a larger research project (pending final approval of funding) on alluvial fan sedimentology, geomorphology and geochronology in locations in the Vizcaino desert (Baja California, Mexico),
and the Arizona Sonoran Desert. The student will take advantage of the recently established luminescence laboratory at the IGWS and of a broad range of facilities at the IGWS and DEAS, as well as an ongoing collaboration with Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory
for cosmogenic exposure dating. International fieldwork is an integral part of the project. The project involves field and lab work along with undergraduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and co-PIs from collaborative institutes, and therefore it is expected
that the candidate for this position should work well in teams.<o:p></o:p></p>
