Department of Geography at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is recruiting a
tenure-track Assistant Professor (tenure-track) with research interests in
earth surface processes, including geomorphology, fluvial processes, hydrology,
eco-hydrology, and watershed modeling. <span></span></font></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top:5pt;margin-bottom:5pt;background-image:initial;background-position:initial;background-size:initial;background-repeat:initial;background-origin:initial;background-clip:initial"><font size="4"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman"">The position will begin August 2018. A Ph.D.
in Geography, Geosciences, Earth Science, Environmental Science, Ecology or an
allied science is required by the time of appointment. The successful applicant
will be expected to develop and maintain a vibrant research program in earth system
geography, advise students in the department’s graduate programs, and contribute
to the undergraduate and graduate curricula. The faculty member will be
expected to develop a high-enrollment undergraduate course and contribute to
our graduate and professional programs through teaching of an
upper-level quantitative skills course in spatial analysis, remote
sensing, or process-based modeling. We welcome candidates who can

educating students from diverse backgrounds, implement novel approaches to
