The position will be based at the University of Michigan in the Climate and Space Science and Engineering department, and the postdoctoral researcher will work with Professor Gretchen Keppel-Aleks. The research is an exciting collaboration between the University
of Michigan, the Woods Hole Research Center, and Northern Arizona University. The scientific objective of the research is to understand the causes of amplification of the atmospheric CO2 mean annual cycle over the last several decades.
The research will contribute to NASA's Arctic and Boreal Vulnerability Experiment (ABOVE), and the postdoctoral scholar will have the opportunity to work with and learn multiple tools, including remote sensing observations, atmospheric CO2 observations,
and coupled land-atmosphere models. <o:p class=""></o:p></span></p>
