The position will be advertised as a term two-year appointment. The
position will be at the GS-9 level (salary range $49,765 to $64,697/yr plus standard Federal benefits). The duty station will be located at the Coweeta Hydrologic Laboratory in Otto, NC. The Coweeta Hydrologic Laboratory has been in continuous operation since
1934 and the research program spans the continuum of basic to applied science. Coweeta is a Long-Term Ecological Research Site and works cooperatively with several universities, National Forests, and local, state, and other federal agencies.

not limited to: 1) Performing geospatial analysis in a Geographic Information System (GIS) on a variety of vector and raster data; 2) Constructing databases of natural resource information; and 4) Developing products including maps and tables for use in reports,
scientific journal articles, and presentations to stakeholders and the scientific community.

methods and procedures; 3) Skill in programming languages used for data analysis and processing (e.g., Python, Matlab, R, FORTRAN); 4) Knowledge of cartographic principles and conventions sufficient to create maps for internal and external use displaying natural
resource data, highlight particular analysis results, and convey basic geospatial information.<u></u><u></u></span></p>
