well-established research team in atmospheric modeling and data
assimilation and work collaboratively with scientists at the
University of Utah, NOAA, and broad community during the Years of
the Maritime Continent (YMC). The specific research project
involves multi-scale variabilities and interactions of atmospheric
convection on the diurnal, synoptic, intraseasonal, and seasonal

physics background, excellent writing skills, proficiency with
atmospheric and/or coupled atmospheric-ocean-land models,
familiarity with numerical modeling and advanced data assimilation
systems such as WRF, WRFDA, GSI, and strong programming abilities
