The postdoctoral fellow will be responsible for (1) assisting with set-up of a new clumped isotope ratio mass spectrometer and preparation system, (2) methods development for clumped isotope analyses of carbonate minerals, and (3) studies of clumped isotope reordering and its application to one or more of the following areas: basin thermal history, carbonate diagenesis, and Earth’s climate history.<u></u><u></u></p><p class="gmail-m_-7784968697088884099MsoPlainText" style="margin:0in 0in 0.0001pt;font-size:11pt;font-family:calibri,sans-serif"><strong><u></u> <u></u></strong></p><p class="gmail-m_-7784968697088884099MsoPlainText" style="margin:0in 0in 0.0001pt;font-size:11pt;font-family:calibri,sans-serif">The appointment will be for three years. Outstanding young scientists with excellent technical abilities, good communication skills, and an eagerness to conduct novel research are encouraged to apply. Applicants must have attained their Ph.D., or have a letter of degree completion, prior to start.
