<p><i><font size="2" face="Calibri"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";font-style:italic">The School of Plant, Environmental, and Soil Sciences, LSU AgCenter and LSU A&M College of Agriculture, seeks applicants for a 12 month (55%
research and 45% teaching), tenure-track position specializing in sustainable agronomic production. The incumbent will develop a nationally recognized externally funded research program that will complement efforts of soils and plant nutrition scientists in
the unit by focusing on integrated production-related issues of important Louisiana crops. The research will support and be integrated with a teaching component. The successful candidate will teach an undergraduate/graduate course in weed science, undergraduate
courses on crop production, and a graduate course on research methods. The incumbent will take leadership in developing the sustainable production curriculum in an interdepartmental program. Additional responsibilities include advising student groups and recruitment
of undergraduates in agronomic and related disciplines. <strong><b><font face="Calibri"><span style="font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif"">QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:</span></font></b></strong> Ph.D. in soils, agronomy, weed science, applied biology, or closely
