Department of Earth & Planetary Science at the University of
California, Berkeley seeks applications for temporary lecturers
to teach EPS 3: <i>The Water Planets</i> during the Spring 2017
semester; EPS 117: <i>Geomorphology</i> during the Fall 2017
semester; and for any additional needs that may emerge in the
department.</span></p>

3 and EPS 117 consist of 3 hours of lectures per week.
Additionally, EPS 3 includes field trips that will require the
preparation and participation of the lecturer, and EPS 117
includes overseeing GSIs in the 3-hour per week laboratory
component. In addition to teaching responsibilities, general
duties include holding office hours, assigning grades, advising
students, preparing course materials (e.g. syllabus), writing
exams, managing GSIs, and maintaining a course website. </span></p>

qualifications: The minimum qualification required to be
considered an applicant for the position is the completion of
all Ph.D. or equivalent degree requirements in Earth Science or
Geology except the dissertation.</span></p>

qualifications: A Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Earth Science or

To be commensurate with experience. Minimum annual full-time
