global carbon sources/sinks; resilience to climate change (aquatic, land, atmosphere); extreme events; coastal habitat response to climate change and restoration, large scale climate signal emergence and predictability, oceanography and global carbon cycling;
development of critical climate indices, geoengineering, integrated assessment modeling, global hydrological change and potential links with oceans. Potential co-advising from faculty in the Biology Dept, Medical School (environmental health), Engineering
or the Wharton business school will be considered, depending on the topic chosen/of interest. </span></div>
