<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; color: rgb(51, 51, 51);">A Ph.D. in a field related to environmental science and experience in teaching undergraduates is required. Advanced training in
geoscience with field experience is strongly recommended.</span></p>

"Verdana",sans-serif;color:#333333">We are open to a wide range of disciplinary or interdisciplinary academic backgrounds relevant to field teaching in environmental sciences,
geosciences, ecology, or related fields. Candidates with experience in inquiry-based teaching and student-centered learning are particularly encouraged to apply.<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><br>

The successful candidate will teach lecture and laboratory courses in introductory environmental science and geoscience for Environmental Science majors and non-majors, and have opportunities to develop an upper-level course and field courses.<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><br>

A new, state-of-the-art science facility, which houses the college’s geological collection and is designed to promote student-faculty collaboration, scholarship, and innovative teaching in STEM opened in January, 2016.<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><br>
