within </span><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">IIHR – Hydroscience & Engineering and
</span><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">the </span><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Iowa</span><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">.
The initial appointment is full-time for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and continued funding. Research will fall within the broad topics of hydrology and hydroclimatology. Of particular interest is the examination

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Ph.D. in a relevant science or engineering field (areas of hydrology, data science, climate science or applied statistics) is required. Experience
in processing and analyzing large data sets and model outputs is required. Expertise in computer programming in R or Python is required.
