mso-bidi-font-family:"Times New Roman"">The Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences (EAS) at Cornell University invites applications for an Assistant Professor in the subject of large-scale
atmospheric or climate dynamics. The successful candidate will develop a high quality research program investigating atmospheric systems and processes on large space and time scales, namely from regional to continental spatial scales and on seasonal to inter-annual
time scales. Research areas could include but not be limited to climate-weather or ocean-atmosphere interactions. Those with research interests that involve extraterrestrial atmospheres or physical oceanography are also encouraged to apply. The position
is one of what is expected to be a series of new appointments as part of a commitment to a major faculty renewal in EAS.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

Agriculture and Life Sciences, in which the Department of EAS is jointly located.
