in the operation of the LA-ICP-MS for geoscience applications. We expect the person we hire to collaborate with faculty and students on research projects, to develop and pursue projects and proposals for external funding, and to refine and develop laboratory
methods and procedures for geoscience applications of geochemistry. Required qualifications for the position are 1) M.S. in geoscience or physical science 2) Minimum 1 year of experience maintaining LA-ICP-MS instrumentation and performing data reduction for
geological samples 3) Computer skills (e.g. Glitter, or other LA-ICP-MS data reduction software) 4) Demonstrated commitment to work effectively with a diverse student body 5) Good oral and written communication skills. For full position announcement, including
