Department of Geography and Geology at Eastern Michigan University invites
applications for two tenure-track faculty positions at the assistant professor
level with specialization in 1) <b>hydrogeology</b>,
and 2) <b>surficial geologic processes</b> effective

<p class="MsoNormal"><font size="2" face="tahoma, sans-serif"><b>Hydrogeology</b>. The candidate will
be expected to be committed to excellence in teaching and to conduct an active
research program in hydrogeology. Instruction responsibilities include teaching
upper-level undergraduate courses in hydrology and hydrogeology, as well as
introductory-level courses in geology, earth science, and environmental
science, and directing undergraduate research projects.<span></span></font></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><font size="2" face="tahoma, sans-serif"><b>Surficial
Geologic Processes</b>.
The candidate will be expected to be committed to excellence in teaching and to
conduct an active research program in surficial geologic processes. Instruction responsibilities include teaching upper-level undergraduate
courses in geomorphology and glacial/Quaternary geology, as well as
introductory-level courses in geology, earth science, and environmental science,
and directing undergraduate research projects. <span></span></font></p>

Ph.D. in geology or related discipline at the time of appointment is required.
