<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-autospace:none"><span style="font-size:11.5pt">Baylor University’s Academy for Teaching and Learning (ATL) seeks applicants for a one-year Postdoctoral Teaching Fellowship in STEM Education. The ATL Teaching Fellow will teach
introductory-level STEM courses and develop and implement programs to enhance STEM education. The ATL Teaching Fellow may also conduct research on STEM pedagogy, contribute to STEM curriculum development and redesign, initiate and/or manage grant proposals
for external funding in STEM disciplines, conduct research on teaching and learning in STEM courses, create materials for STEM educators, and provide training for teaching assistants and/or graduate student instructors of record. The Academy for Teaching and
Learning, Baylor’s singular institute devoted to teaching development, will oversee the fellowship. However, the ATL Teaching Fellow will have significant opportunities to interact with faculty and staff in his or her academic discipline. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-autospace:none"><span style="font-size:11.5pt">The position is an academic calendar (ten-month) appointment with a competitive salary and the possibility of renewal for one additional year depending upon funding and performance.
The preferred start date is Aug 14, 2017. Candidates must have a doctoral degree in a STEM discipline in hand at the start of this appointment. Ideal candidates will demonstrate effectiveness in teaching, articulate strong interests in education research,
show proficiency with grant writing, have excellent oral and written communication skills, and articulate relevant research questions and directions of inquiry in his or her field. Ideal candidates will also demonstrate evidence of research potential. Applicants
