The Department of Watershed Sciences at Utah State University<br>

assistant professor position in limnology. We seek a limnologist<br>
interested in biological, physical, and/or chemical processes in lake<br>
and/or wetland ecosystems. The area of specialization is open. The<br>
successful applicant will be expected to develop a collaborative<br>
research program that leverages existing expertise in ecology,<br>
biogeochemistry, hydrology, geomorphology, and climate and water<br>
resource modeling. This position is partially funded through the Ecology<br>
Center (<a target="_blank" rel="noreferrer" href="http://www.usu.edu/ecology/">http://www.usu.edu/ecology/</a>). The successful applicant will<br>
become an associate of the Ecology Center and will be expected to<br>
contribute to Ecology Center programs.<br>

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in limnology or a related discipline, a<br>
record of peer-reviewed publication appropriate to career stage, and<br>
evidence of excellence in teaching or the ability to develop into an<br>
excellent teacher. Postdoctoral experience is desirable. This is an<br>
academic-year, 9-month, tenure track position to begin fall 2017.<br>
Approximate division of duties is 50% research, 40% teaching, and 10%<br>
service. The successful applicant will develop an externally-funded<br>
research program and teach approximately 7-8 semester credit hours per<br>
