The Lab of Climate and Soil Biogeochemistry (<a href="http://jwli.weebly.com/" rel="noreferrer" target="_blank">http://jwli.weebly.com/</a>) seeks<br>
motivated graduate students (one MS and one PhD) starting in Spring/Fall<br>
2017 to study human accelerated environmental changes on biogeochemical<br>
cycles of soil carbon and nutrients at molecular to global scales. The<br>
group=E2=80=99s interdisciplinary research integrates field and laboratory<br>
observations as well as modeling approaches to address questions that<br>
intersect external disturbances and global biogeochemical cycles. Research<br>
opportunities may include soil=E2=80=99s microbial and genetic level respon=<br>
ses to<br>
global climate change and soil carbon cycle modeling. Applicants must have<br>
a Bachelor's degree or Master degree (for Ph.D. position) in soil science,<br>
microbiology, environmental science or a closely related field. Laboratory<br>
and/or field research experience is mandatory, but evidence of passion for<br>
scientific inquiry and aptitude for collaborative research are expected. To<br>
