The Position<br>
The Department of Environmental Studies at Antioch University New England=<br>

(AUNE) seeks applicants for a full-time, 1-year faculty appointment in it=<br>

innovative, interdisciplinary graduate department with programs leading t=<br>
o<br>
Master=92s and Doctoral degrees in Environmental Studies.=20<br>
<br>
We seek a collaborative and highly motivated faculty member who is<br>
enthusiastic about innovative and interdisciplinary teaching and learning=<br>
.<br>
The successful candidate should have a PhD in landscape ecology,<br>
physical/biogeography, conservation biology or related fields. The desir=<br>
ed<br>
candidate will have a track record of quality teaching, professional<br>
collaboration, applied research and community engagement.=20<br>
<br>
The position requires engagement with student learning, teaching<br>
face-to-face and hybrid courses (weekday and weekend delivery models with=<br>
a<br>
combination of classroom and on-line learning). Teaching and advising loa=<br>
d<br>
is equivalent to 24 credit hours per academic year (1-2 courses per<br>
semester, plus advising). The selected candidate will manage the AUNE<br>
Center of Spatial Analysis and Remote Sensing, and teach graduate courses=<br>
<br>
such as introductory, advanced and applied GIS, and biostatistics. Activ=<br>
e<br>
engagement in student learning via classes, individual advising on data<br>
analysis and feedback on written work is required. Active participation =<br>
in<br>
all faculty meetings is expected.=20<br>
