recruit a Research Fellow to participate in the CRESCENDO
project. This EU/Horizon 2020 funded post is available

postdoctoral researcher to work on JULES, the land surface
component of the UK Earth System Model (UK-ESM). Research
will be on the representation of the land nitrogen cycle
or on land use and management, depending on the candidate
expertise. In addition, the candidate will evaluate and
analyse model simulations as part of the Coupled Model
Intercomparison Project (CMIP6). The candidate is expected
to present his/her work at project meetings and
international conferences and publish in peer-reviewed
journals. This work will be carried out as part of the
EU/H2020 CRESCENDO project. CRESCENDO involves 25 European
institutes and includes the seven leading European Earth
system models.<br>

team leader as required. Applicants will need to have robust
expertise in programming and numerical modelling applied to
