The successful candidate will focus on California agriculture and challenges associated with climate change, and will be part of a large, multi-institution, and multi-disciplinar<span class="" style="display:inline">y project.</span></font></p><div class="" style="display:inline;color:rgb(20,24,35);font-family:helvetica,arial,sans-serif;line-height:19.32px"><font size="1"><p style="margin:0px 0px 6px">The position calls for expertise in numerical methods for land-surface modeling; uncertainty quantification; parameter estimation; and microbial, abiotic, and plant processes and interactions. The position offers an excellent environment for working with a highly skilled interdisciplinary team and will require strong motivation and excellent oral and written communication skills. The postdoctoral researcher will also have opportunities to collaborate with researchers across our multi-institution project.</p><p style="margin:6px 0px">The successful candidate may focus on several groups of agriculture-relevant processes, including coupled hydrological and biogeochemical dynamics, nutrient and carbon interactions, plant and microbe interactions, and management.
