The successful applicant will manage his/her research project and work closely with the group members at TAMU-CC and external collaborators on NASA funded research projects. The student will work on satellite remote sensing (including GPS occultation, NASA
A-Train) and global model data to study the atmospheric boundary layer and cloud dynamic process or relevant topics of student’s interest. </div>

Applicants should have a BS degree in meteorology, atmospheric sciences or similar disciplines. Preference for Ph.D. GA will be given to applicant with a MS degree in atmospheric sciences. Strong physics and math background, effectively communication orally
and in writing and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment is essential. Experience on analyzing satellite remote sensing data and programming (e.g., IDL, Matlab, Fortran or Python etc.) are desired but not required. </div>
