ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF PRACTICE, DEPARTMENT OF EARTH AND ATMOSPHERIC
SCIENCES (non-tenure track, Atmospheric Sciences)
<p class="MsoNormal">Applications are invited for a non-tenure track
position as Assistant Professor of Practice in the Department of
Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at the University of
Nebraska-Lincoln. The successful candidate will be expected to
teach multiple courses in atmospheric sciences, take a lead role
in academic advising, participate in curricular development, and
support recruiting and outreach activities within the department.
In addition, a fraction of the appointment will be devoted to
research and service</p>

should demonstrate strong potential for excellence in teaching and
pedagogy and must hold a Ph.D. in meteorology, atmospheric
sciences, or a related field at the time of appointment.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The Department of Earth and Atmospheric
Sciences offers B.S. degrees in Meteorology-Climatology and
Geology, as well as M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Earth and
Atmospheric Sciences. Research in atmospheric sciences focuses on
meteorological hazards, climate change, and remote sensing.
