PHYSICAL GEOGRAPHY<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The Department of Geography invites
applications for a
Lectureship in Physical Geography. This position is a continuing
teaching
(non-research) appointment starting September 1, 2016. Applicants
should have a
PhD degree. They should demonstrate excellence, or the clear
promise of
excellence, in teaching, and a commitment to experiential learning
and
innovative pedagogy. The successful candidate will teach a broad
range of
courses in the first and second year of the undergraduate program
in physical
geography, be able to co-ordinate and lead the physical geography
field school,
and possibly teach more advanced courses. Preference will be given
to
candidates who can successfully teach students from a range of
science and
non-science backgrounds. Contributions to collegial governance are
expected. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">All qualified candidates are encouraged to

priority. Simon
