 Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CIE) at the 
University of Maine (UMaine) invites applications for a tenure track 
position in one of the following areas of specialization: environmental 
fluid mechanics, hydraulics, or water resources engineering. Expected 
areas of expertise include, but are not limited to: environmental fluid 
mechanics, river mechanics, sediment transport, ecohydraulics, lake and 
reservoir engineering, coastal engineering, and water quality modeling. 
The position will be filled at the assistant professor level. </span></span></p></div>

 include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in hydraulics, open
 channel hydraulics, and/or water resources modeling; establishing and 
maintaining a nationally-competitive funded research program; authoring 
high-quality peer-reviewed publications; training M.S. and Ph.D. 
students, and actively engaging in service to the profession,

dynamic engineering program dedicated to high-quality teaching,

state-of-the-art Wind-Wave Basin experimental facility
