We welcome applications from<br>broadly trained ecologists with interdisciplinary backgrounds and expertise in:<br>population, community, or ecosystem ecology; conservation biology; restoration<br>ecology; landscape ecology; or closely related fields. Candidates should have a Ph.D.<br>and a strong commitment to undergraduate education. Familiarity with liberal arts<br>colleges and teaching experience is desirable. Teaching responsibilities will include<br>three courses, two with laboratory components (Introduction to Ecology and either<br>Advanced and Applied Ecology or an intermediate-level elective course in the<br>candidate’s area of specialty), and co-teaching the gateway course for majors and<br>minors, Environment and Society. The Environmental Studies Program is one of the<br>largest and fastest growing programs at Colby.
