in northern, central and southern Europe at the end of the last ice age to understand the impact of abrupt changes
in temperature on the water cycle. For this, organic-geochemical and stable isotope-based methods (e.g.

European Research Council, ERC, under an ERC Consolidator Grant to Dr. Dirk Sachse. The
successful candidate will work as part of a team of several researchers in this ERC project.
