will be responsible for conducting remote field physical process measurements throughout Alaska and in other Arctic and subarctic terrains in order to better understand interactions among ecosystems, the cryosphere, the water cycle, and a changing climate
in the Arctic and subarctic. You will support basic and applied research focused on DoD installations and research sites throughout Alaska. You will garner internal and external funding by leading and co-leading proposals; presenting research results in peer
reviewed journals, project reports, and through participation in project meetings and at international research symposia. You will collaborate on research projects with the Engineer Research Development Center (ERDC) in Alaska and at other locations, marketing
ERDC and the Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory (CRREL) Alaska Research Office, and meeting customer needs through timely analysis and deliverables.
