Directed by Professor Avery Cohn, AFB is dedicated to research in support of sustainable agriculture, the stewardship of wild lands, and healthy oceans. We hope to make up to three one-year appointments with the potential to renew for an additional year. Salaries will be $50-55K per year depending on previous experience. Benefits are competitive. Fellows are expected to join projects currently supervised by AFB faculty and affiliates. Fellows with backgrounds in quantitative social science, environment and earth science, civil and environmental engineering, and statistics are encouraged to apply. Some projects involve field research and/or supervision of field research for as much as three to four months of the year. Our research is inherently applied.
