</span><span>You will join the school of Geography Politics and Sociology at Newcastle University and will strengthen and complement one or more of our four strategic research themes (past climates, evolving landscapes, cryospheric systems and water
science). <br>
<br>
You will have a track record of research and publication commensurate with the level of appointment. You will also be expected to make a full contribution to both field- and practical-based undergraduate teaching, and to undertake supervision of postgraduate students.
We particularly welcome applications from candidates with expertise and experience in using remote sensing in a physical geography context. You must hold a good first degree and PhD (awarded or close to completion) in Physical Geography, Earth Science or
closely related discipline<br>
