for winter of 2016 [ORCAS: The O2/N2 Ratio and CO2 Airborne Southern Ocean Study]. The project is focused on advancing our understanding of physical and biological controls on air-sea gas exchange of CO2 and O2 in the Southern Ocean. Work will entail
high-resolution atmospheric modeling for flight planning, and analyzing in-situ data collected from the GV. For this project, the fellow will interact extensively with the campaign's science team both in developing optimal sampling strategies and linking
the atmospheric observations with ocean modeling conducted at NCAR.
