<div dir="ltr"><span style="font-size:13px">Computer Modeling Specialist Position at UFMG in Belo Horizonte, Brazil:</span><br style="font-size:13px"><span style="font-size:13px">Economic Valuation Amazon Forest Change</span><br style="font-size:13px"><br style="font-size:13px"><span style="font-size:13px">CSR at UFMG (</span><a href="http://csr.ufmg.br/" target="_blank" style="font-size:13px">csr.ufmg.br</a><span style="font-size:13px">), coordinated by Prof. Britaldo Soares-Filho, is</span><br style="font-size:13px"><span style="font-size:13px">hiring a specialist in computer modeling to participate in the project</span><br style="font-size:13px"><span style="font-size:13px">entitled “ECONOMIC VALUATION OF CHANGES IN AMAZON FOREST AREA”.</span><br style="font-size:13px"><br style="font-size:13px"><span style="font-size:13px">The project financed by the World Bank aims to develop a platform for</span><br style="font-size:13px"><span style="font-size:13px">integrating geographically differentiated net forest values for the Amazon</span><br style="font-size:13px"><span style="font-size:13px">region. The platform will embed three major valuation components. One is</span><br style="font-size:13px"><span style="font-size:13px">the direct values of maintaining the forest versus converting or degrading</span><br style="font-size:13px"><span style="font-size:13px">it (opportunity costs of forest conservation).
