<p class="MsoNormal">PhD position in hydrology and biogeochemical cycling at Central<br>
Michigan University<br>

The hydrology, hydrogeology, and water resources lab in the Department<br>
of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at Central Michigan University is<br>
seeking a qualified and highly motivated student in the field of Earth<br>
and Ecosystems Science to start Fall 2015. The PhD will focus on plot<br>
and catchment scale water and nutrient fluxes in response to abrupt<br>
vegetation change. Applicants should have a background in hydrology,<br>
soil sciences, earth sciences, or environmental sciences. Excellent<br>
oral and written communication skills are expected. Field experience<br>
and familiarity with (one or more of) the following: biogeochemical<br>
cycling of N and P, MATLAB, and distributed hydrological modeling are<br>
desired but not required.<br>
