with physical parameterizations used in climate models and has a strong background in atmospheric physics. The selected candidate will work with a team on a multi-year DOE SciDAC project to improve cumulus parameterizations suitable for resolutions typically
used in meso- and large-scale models. He/she will be responsible for implementing and evaluating an improved cumulus parameterization at various scales and performing tests in both single column models and global climate models.
