staff members, and approximately 125 undergraduate majors. Degree
options include a BS in Geology, a BA in Earth Science, and minors
in Geology and in Geophysics. Our graduates are recognized for
their strong foundation in core geoscience disciplines with
experience in undergraduate research. The department has an
excellent record of placing students in graduate programs and
