<span style="letter-spacing:.05pt">The Department of Geological Sciences at California State University Bakersfield invites applications for a Full-Time (academic year) Lecturer position starting January 2<sup>nd</sup> 2015 and continuing through the end of
2017. </span><o:p></o:p></p>

<span style="letter-spacing:.05pt">The position is not tenure-track but it is renewable pending funding, and subject to performance review. The successful candidate will be expected to be able to teach undergraduate geology courses including general education,
lower- and upper-division courses for Geology majors, and a graduate course in their area of expertise. A Ph.D. in geology or closely related field is preferred but an M.S. will also be considered. A candidate with an emphasis in mineralogy or geochemistry
is preferred.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
