Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada, has an immediate opening for a
postdoctoral position in the general area of biogeochemical modelling.
</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 12.000000pt; font-family: 'Cambria'">A Ph.D. in Oceanic, Atmospheric or Environmental Science, prior modelling
experience and programming skills are prerequisites. Familiarity with ROMS,
FORTRAN and Matlab would be beneficial.
</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 12.000000pt; font-family: 'Cambria'">The successful candidate will join an interactive research group and will work on
regional biogeochemical modelling (and possibly data assimilation) of the
northwestern North Atlantic continental shelves and adjacent deep ocean.
</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 12.000000pt; font-family: 'Cambria'">The appointment is initially for one year, with a possible extension depending on
performance and continued availability of funding. Applicants are asked to provide
