Postdoctoral position available in the Molecular Archeology Group (MAG) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Our research is focused on analysis of ancient biomolecules from archeological specimens. This is an inter-disciplinary initiative, including microbiologists, archeologists, geographers, biogeochemists, soil scientists, evolutionary biologists.<br style>
<br style>We seek a candidate with experience extracting and characterizing DNA from archeological materials. The successful candidate will manage our newly constructed ancient DNA laboratory, including training and supervising graduate students. There are opportunities for candidates to work with affiliated faculty addressing a range of questions in evolutionary biology, anthropology, agricultural science, and human and veterinary medicine.<br style>
