<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;line-height:115%;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">A two-year contract position is available to run the chemistry lab in the Global Institute for Water Security (usask.ca/water) under the supervision of
Dr. Helen Baulch at the University of Saskatchewan. The successful applicant will be responsible for performing and supervising analyses across numerous instruments including a gas chromatograph, discrete chemical analyser, and membrane-inlet mass spectrometer.
The manager will be responsible for student and technician training, instrument maintenance and troubleshooting, lab safety, coordinating waste management, data management, QAQC, lab ordering and will help support graduate student projects.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;line-height:115%;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">The ideal applicant will have extensive experience in instrumental techniques, water chemistry, and/or mass spectrometry. Masters-level applicants and
candidates with bachelor’s education or college education combined with extensive lab-based experience are also well-suited to the position. Applicants should have experience working in a multi-user environment, and ideally will have supervisory experience.
