<p>> The Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis invites applications for a Research Scientist in the area of metal stable isotope geochemistry. This scientist would be responsible for supervising a Thermo Scientific Neptune Plus MC-ICP-MS and associated laboratories. Experience with operating a MC-ICP-MS, clean room procedures, and column chemistry is required. In addition, this scientist is expected to develop and conduct research projects that apply metal stable isotope geochemistry in the fields of low-temperature geochemistry, geobiology, or related areas.<br>

> Candidates must have been awarded a Ph.D. in Earth Science, Chemistry, Physics, or a closely related field at the time of appointment. The desired start date is July 1, 2014 and this position is available through August 2016, with the possibility of an extension contingent on job performance and availability of funds.<br>
