The research will have the opportunity to engage in a large and vibrant community of sea-level and climate change researchers at Rutgers and at collaborating institutions.</div><div style="margin: 0px; min-height: 14px;"><br></div><div style="margin: 0px;"><b>Qualifications:</b> A Ph.D. in Earth/environmental/marine environmental science, statistics, computer science, or a related field is required. Applicants should be enthusiastic, creative, highly motivated, and excited about both basic Earth science research and the application of Earth science to inform decision making. Excellent communication skills and a strong publication record are expected. Applicants must also possess very strong quantitative and analytical skills and expertise in at least one scientific programming language. Experience with Bayesian statistical techniques is desirable.</div><div style="margin: 0px; min-height: 14px;"><br></div><div style="margin: 0px;"><b>Additional Information:</b> A 12-month commitment is expected; pending satisfactory performance, the position may be renewed for a second year. This position is available beginning this autumn. A start date during Fall 2014 is preferred.
